Guasha is one of the traditional natural therapies, it can improve local micro circulation, dredge the meridians, improve blood circulation, reduce swelling and pain to enhance the body's immune system
Warming the muscles by using the forearms for a deeper massage and targeting specific areas that are stressed and full of tension
Applying Gua Sha will encourage fresh Qi and blood into the muscles and skin whilst removing the build up of toxins and stagnant blood
It can be hard to get your head around the idea of scraping along the skin to improve your health, but Gua Sha has a long history and is widely used in East Asia, thankfully, it is becoming more known in the Western World due to interest in Chinese Traditional Medicine (CTM) and Cupping techniques
